The Steam Packet Location: Strand on the Green, London The Steam Packet sits by the Thames in the pretty London village of Strand on the Green. Before its recent refurbishment, Cafe Rouge was operating from this premises. Having been returned to its former glory, the building now houses this beautiful Victorian style pub. It features two refurbished trading areas, new kitchens and WCs as well as riverside dining. To mark its heritage the pub now incorporates vintage lighting and antique style tiling. Our joiners created an intricate new bar to enhance the current fashion of returning to traditional styling. We completed the project for the pub operators Food and Fuel in August this year and the refurbished pub is already proving a hugely popular venue for enjoying a drink or meal.
