The Sterling Location: The Gherkin EC1 The Sterling is a very busy and stylish bar inside the iconic Gherkin building. It’s located right in the heart of the city of London. We only refurbished it a couple of years ago for Novus Leisure but it’s so busy they want to keep it fresh and up to date. Five days of part closure and five days of full closure allowed us to carry out a full refurbishment during this year’s summer heatwave.
